The BTV admin team now keep copies of all videos uploaded or embedded to the website with effect from 1st Jan 2010 so if you are unfortunate enough to have one deleted by Youtube and have not kept a copy, then we should be able to help you.(see note below)

This also means that there is now no need for us to continue to update the shadow channels which we run for several long serving members such as Andy,Ashleigh,Durham Boys,Natalie,Sam (Fennellamay) Rochefords and,of course, SundaeGirl !! (we have advised them all by email)

These channels will be left in place as they are but no new videos will be added to them because members should be now be aware that Youtube can and do delete videos (and channels!) without warning and should therefore be keeping back up copies to upload to their BTV channel should they wish.

IMPORTANT:
Please be aware that copies of videos we keep are in the FLV format which is how they are stored on the NING servers they will not be in the same format as you originally prepared them for to upload them to BedroomTV website....
We do keep copies of your YT embeds on BedroomTV but only as the highest quality FLV format done by YT they will not be in HD Format.
Copies of Embeds on Vimeo will be in the smallest file size format offered by Vimeo.


VIDEO STARRING/COMMENTS

Just a reminder that, unlike other sites, the star system on BTV is just a bit of fun and has no effect whatsover on competition results.

The judges will only ever see the videos...............

If any one feels that a video should receive a poor star rating, then why not also leave a comment as to why so the person concerned will have some idea what they could do to improve their video


Its also worth mentioning to members that site hosts NING's servers keep records of site users, logins, IP/ISP's together with dates and times and what activity is taking place at anyone time. and we and they take a very serious view of any malicious comments,targetted downstarring and harrassment of any member-a variety of sanctions are available from suspension of the offender, loss of their email facilities AND IN PERSISTENT CASES,CRIMINAL PROSECUTION MAY RESULT
